This policy explains what information the Jisi app and its service ("Jisi", "we") handle, why, for how long, and what your rights are. We keep it to a minimum: no sign-up is required, we don't ask for your name, email or phone number, we show no ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell information.
1. What stays on your device
Your conversations, attachments, favorites, answer preferences and settings are stored only on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You can clear them at any time under Privacy & data in the app; deleting the app removes them too.
2. When you send a question
To produce an answer, the text and images you send, plus the context needed for a good answer (such as your device's local time, time zone and language, and the answer preferences you set), pass through the Jisi server to the model access service and third-party AI model providers we use. The answer comes back the same way.
- Our servers do not store conversation content. It only passes through while your answer is being produced.
- Third-party providers handle it under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Please don't share sensitive information such as ID numbers, card numbers or passwords in conversations.
- With web search on, keywords from your question may be used to search the web.
3. What our servers keep
- Account identifiers: a random account number, and a salted hash of a device ID (so a reinstall finds the same guest account, and the free allowance can't be claimed twice). The device ID is a random value made by the app, not a serial number or advertising identifier.
- If you sign in with Apple: the user identifier Apple provides for Jisi only, and an encrypted authorization token used solely to revoke Sign in with Apple when you delete your account. We don't request your name or email.
- Time zone: to reset the daily free allowance at your local midnight.
- Usage records: for each request, the time, mode, tokens used, cost and outcome (success, failure and so on), to charge your allowance, account for costs and keep the service reliable. Usage records contain no conversation content.
- Subscriptions: the transaction records Apple sends us (product, purchase and expiry dates, transaction IDs), to provide your plan. Apple processes payment; we never see your payment details.
- Feedback and reports: when you rate or report an answer we record the type and reason; only a report includes the reported answer, for human review.
IP addresses are used briefly in server memory to prevent abuse and are not written to logs or the database.
4. Voice input
Speech is transcribed on your device whenever possible. Only if you agree to online recognition is audio sent to Apple's speech recognition service. Jisi does not keep recordings or send audio to its servers.
5. Retention and deleting your account
- Account information is kept while you use Jisi. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Plan & usage › Delete Account; it takes effect immediately.
- Deletion removes your sign-in tokens, feedback and reports, paid allowance records and Apple user identifier, and revokes Sign in with Apple.
- To prevent refilling the free allowance by deleting accounts, we keep the device hash and today's count of free messages; these don't identify you.
- Past usage and transaction records are disconnected from your account and used only for cost statistics and accounting.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
6. Who we share with
- The model access service and AI model providers: only what's needed to answer (see section 2).
- Apple: for Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases and, with your consent, speech recognition.
- Cloud hosting providers: that run our servers and database.
- Where required by law, or to protect the safety of users and the public, we may disclose necessary information.
These providers may be located outside your country or region, including in mainland China and the United States. We share only what's needed to provide the service and require them to protect it.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent (for example, turn off online speech recognition or sign out of Apple), and complain about how we handle it. You can delete your account directly in the app; for anything else, email aidouzi2026@163.com and we'll reply within 15 business days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Jisi is for people aged 13 or older (or the higher age required where you live). If you believe a child is using Jisi without a parent's or guardian's consent, contact us and we'll delete the account.
9. Security
All data is sent over HTTPS, authorization tokens are stored encrypted, and server access is tightly restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects you, we'll let you know promptly.
10. Changes
When this policy changes we update the effective date above; significant changes are announced in the app.
